Celebration

The Leesburg Garden Club, founded in 1915, celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2015 by planting a Native Tree Walk at Ida Lee Park in Leesburg.

 

 

 

Nature Scholarship

The Club recently awarded a scholarship to Nature Camp, Vesuvius, VA, to Hannah Kauffman of Ashburn.

The Leesburg Garden Club (LGC), a 501(c)3 organization, wishes to announce the availability of grant funding for projects that are in keeping with the Mission of the Club. That Mission states “The object of the Club shall be to promote active interest in gardening and to assist in the protection and development of the natural beauties of the State”.  It is the intent of the Club to select from applicants from 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations who propose a project-small or large-within Loudoun County either urban or rural which best reflects the furtherance of Mission of the Club.

The Club will award funding for a project(s) that will engage community members in making their environment clean, sustainable, beautiful and lasting for future generations.
